Turkmen-Italian negotiations on education were held in Rome

In Rome, in the building of the Ministry of Education, Universities and Research of the Italian Republic, a meeting was held between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan Toyli Komekov and the diplomatic adviser to the Minister for Universities and Research of Italy Lamberto Maria Moruzzi. This was reported by the press service of the Embassy of Turkmenistan.

The parties reviewed the implementation of the agreements reached during the visit of the President of Turkmenistan to the Italian Republic in November 2019, as well as the application of the provisions and clauses of the Memoranda of Cooperation signed between universities of the two countries.

Opportunities for exchanging experience and training Turkmen students in Italian universities in various areas were discussed. An invitation has been received for Turkmen students studying Italian to do internships in Italy.

At the end of the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to maintain an active dialogue on the development and deepening of bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and the Italian Republic.
