Turkmen journalists participate in the V World Media Forum in China

Journalists from Turkmenistan are taking part in the V World Media Forum, which opened in the Chinese city of Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, reports the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.

The opening ceremony of the forum brought together representatives and leaders from the Government of the People's Republic of China, UN agencies and the media from more than 100 countries.

The media summit is organized by the “Xinhua” News Agency and is held under the slogan “Increasing global trust, promoting media development”. Participants will discuss the challenges and prospects for the development of the media space, and also develop innovative strategies for successful cooperation.

The speeches of the delegates noted the importance of developing relations between media, and also touched upon other significant issues. The special role of the media in promoting opportunities for personal development and strengthening trust in relationships for the sake of maintaining stability and security in the world was emphasized.

Work at the forum sites will last until December 8. In addition to Guangzhou, summit participants will visit Kunming, where they will discuss innovative approaches and strategies for shaping future global media trends.
