Turkmen judoists held training camp in Poland

On February 2526, Warsaw (Poland) will host the 2023 European Judo Open Championship, organized by the European Judo Union.

The judokas of Turkmenistan have been actively preparing for these competitions. They held training camps in Poland, reports the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper.

Turkmenistan will be represented by 13 athletes at the European Open Championship.

The national men's team includes: Hakberdy Jumayev, Aibek Omirov (weight category up to 60 kg), Hekim Agamammedov, Serdar Rakhimov (up to 66 kg), Parahat Nazarov, Begench Soltanov (up to 73 kg), Shatlyk Seyitmyradov (up to 81 kg), Mammadali Achildyev (up to 90 kg) and Baymyrat Madzhanov (up to 100 kg).

As part of the women's team of Turkmenistan: Aksoltan Hojageldiyeva, Kurbanay Kurbanova (up to 48 kg), Maisa Pardayeva (up to 57 kg) and Zulhumar Dashkinova (up to 63 kg).

Turkmen judokas will perform at the championship under the guidance of coaches Gahryman Amandurdyev and Tatyana Vidyasova.

The 2023 European Open Judo Championship will bring together more than 429 athletes from 43 countries. Competitions will be held in seven weight categories for both men and women.
