Turkmen President Commemorates 28th Anniversary of Neutrality With Flower-Laying Ceremony

Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov participated in a ceremony of laying flowers at the Neutrality Building on Tuesday to commemorate the 28th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Permanent Neutrality, the official Turkmen media reports.

Representatives of the Mejlis and People's Council of Turkmenistan, members of the Government, heads of ministries and departments, ambassadors of Turkmenistan to foreign countries, heads of diplomatic missions and representatives of international organisations, elders, public organisations, mass media participated in the ceremony of laying flowers on the Neutrality Building of Turkmenistan.

In all regions of Turkmenistan, vibrant concert programs, cultural-social gatherings, and sports events were organised in conjunction with the International Day of Neutrality celebrations.

On the occasion of the 28th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Secretary General of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Sergey Lebedev, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and a member of the Sheikh family of Qatar, Faisal bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Thani sent congratulatory messages to Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
