Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov extended his congratulations and best wishes to Italian President Sergio Mattarella on his 85th birthday, Turkmen state media reported on Thursday.
"We highly value the friendly relations between our countries and are confident they will continue to develop and strengthen for the benefit of the peoples of Turkmenistan and Italy" President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed in his congratulatory message.
Berdimuhamedov wished Mattarella good health and happiness, and extended his wishes for peace, continued progress and prosperity to the people of Italy.
Mattarella was born on July 23, 1941, in Palermo and has served as Italy's President since 2015.
