Turkmen President to Visit Berlin For Germany-Central Asia Summit

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov will participate in the meeting between the Federal President of Germany and leaders of Central Asian countries, which will be held on September 29 this year in Berlin, Germany.

President Frank-Walter Steinmeier of Germany is expected to meet with President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the press service of the German Federal President reports.

The meeting and a photo session will take place at the Bellevue Palace, the official residence of the Federal President of Germany.

Earlier at the cabinet meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov informed about an upcoming Turkmen-German economic forum scheduled to take place in Germany in October.
