President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov visited on Wednesday the exhibition dedicated to the 14th anniversary of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET) and got acquainted with the range of products and industrial goods manufactured by the country's businesses.
Chary Gylyjov, the Deputy Chairman of the Turkmen Government overseeing the country’s trade and textile complex and Dovran Hudayberdiyev, the UIET Chairman briefed on the products exhibited at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the country's official media reports.
During a tour of the exhibition, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with the information presented at the pavilions of Rysgal bank and Seljeriş We Tehnologiýalar Merkezi (Analysis and Technology Center) on the dynamics of their progressive development.
The President also took interest in the confectionery products of Bars, Kindi, Oguzhan, Ak Gar and Datmeni brands, and of Hasar, Misgär, Duýgy and Altyn Ýunus companies.
Stating the importance of processing fruits and vegetables grown by the private sector, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with the exhibition of food products of Sahabatly brand, a major producer and processor of agricultural products in the country.
The Head of State addressed specific instructions to the Vice-Premier Chary Gylyjov and UIET Chairman Dovran Hudayberdiyev to ensure constant control over the issues related to increasing the production of high-quality and environmentally friendly food products in the country and increasing the activity of the business sector in this direction.
The UIET exhibition will run until April 18.
