From July 6 to July 15, 2023, the Silk Way Rally 2023 was held in 13 regions of Russia with a total length of 5241 kilometers. Turkmenistan was represented here by riders Merdan Toylyev, Shohrat Toylyev, Maksatmyrat Danatarov, Didar Orazmedov, Begench Annaev, Muhametmyrat Gurbanov (Nissan Patrol).
According to the results of the competition in the T2 class, the crew of the Toylyev brothers took second place, covering the distance in 32 hours 18 minutes and 44 seconds, and the crew of Maksatmyrat Danatarov and Didar Orazmedov took third place, having come to the finish line 21 minutes later than their compatriots.
The awarding of the winners of the 2023 Silk Way International Rally took place on Red Square in the very center of Moscow.
