Turkmen scientists visited the Georgian National Manuscript Center

Recently, scientists from the National Institute of Language, Literature and Manuscripts named after Magtymguly of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan visited the Georgian National Center for Manuscripts named after Korneli Kekelidze.

Turkmen scientists got acquainted with the collections of historical documents published in Arabic, Persian and Turkish and of historical value.

A meeting was also held with the director of the Center, Zaza Abashidze, during which issues of further cooperation were discussed, because the establishment of direct contacts between scientists of the two countries, the deepening of scientific cooperation, and the holding of joint events will help strengthen cultural and humanitarian ties between the two peoples, according to the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan .

This visit took place within the framework of the participation of the Turkmen delegation in the conference dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi, which was held in Tbilisi.
