Turkmen singer Begmyrat Annamyradov performed in Seoul at the ABU TV festival

Turkmenistan was represented at the 12th ABU Television Song Festival held in Seoul on Sunday. Popular Turkmen pop singer Begmyrat Annamyradov performed on the KBS Hall stage with the song Arkadagly ak şäher.

To support Begmyrat, popularly known as DJ Begga, representatives of the Turkmen embassy and Turkmen students studying at universities in Korea came to the festival. They greeted their singer with great enthusiasm, especially since that day was Begmyrat’s birthday.

Participants from eleven countries performed on the same stage with the Turkmen singer in front of audiences throughout the region.

At the end of the festival, the Turkmen performer, like all festival participants, was solemnly awarded.

The ABU TV Song Festival was held for the first time in 2012. The festival is a non-competitive event - awards are given to all participants, as the purpose of the festival is to recognize the unique talent of Asian musicians.

We previously reported that Begmyrat Annamyradov will represent Turkmenistan at the ABU TV song festival.
