For the second year in a row, Turkmen students have become winners of the Spelling Bee competition for Central Asian countries.
According to the press service of the US Embassy in Turkmenistan, this time students from Turkmenistan took 1st and 2nd places in the competition.
The qualifying stages of the traditional American competition, in which participants must spell a word by reproducing its written, dictionary form, were held in each of the Central Asian countries. The finalists of the qualifying rounds met at the regional competition in Dushanbe.

Last year, the regional Spelling Bee was held in Tashkent. Then also students from Turkmenistan took 1st and 2nd places.
