Turkmen teachers and students are improving their skills in the Persian language and literature

Teachers and students from higher education institutions of Turkmenistan are participating in advanced training courses in the field of Persian language and literature, organised by the Cultural centre of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Turkmenistan.

The training course, which started on the 16th of February at the Turkmen state university named after Magtymguly, is designed for 10 days.Classes for representatives of Turkmen universities are conducted under the guidance of experienced professors and teachers of Persian language and literature from the Saadi Foundation of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The educational event is attended by teachers and students from the Turkmen state university named after Magtymguly, the Turkmen national institute of world languages named after Dovletmammet Azady, the Institute of international relations of the Ministry of foreign affairs of Turkmenistan, the Turkmen state pedagogical institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi, and the State energy institute of Turkmenistan.

The ongoing professional development courses are focused on the implementation of modern teaching methods and the study of the specifics of teaching Persian as a foreign language, the exchange of experiences, the enrichment of the educational process, the improvement of the quality of language education, the expansion of the professional competencies and capabilities of teachers, and the improvement of linguistic knowledge and communication skills of students.
