The composition of the men's and women's weightlifting team of Turkmenistan at the 2023 IWF World Youth Championships, which will be held in the city of Durres (Albania) from March 25 to April 1, has become known.

Boys and girls will compete for big and small medals in 20 weight categories.

Turkmenistan will be represented by 9 athletes at the Youth World Weightlifting Championship 2023, the IWF official website reports.

In the men's tournament, Turkmenistan will be represented by Nurbek Azamatov (weight category up to 49 kg), Perhat Bagtiyarov (up to 61 kg), Didarbek Jumabayev (up to 67 kg) and Suleyman Jafarov (up to 96 kg), and in the women's tournament - Shabnam Kerimbayeva (up to 40 kg). ), Ogulshat Amanova (up to 45 kg), Medina Amanova (up to 59 kg), Gulyalek Kakamuradova (up to 64 kg) and Anamjan Rustamova (up to 81 kg).
