Turkmenabat to Host Uzbekistan National Exhibition, Second Interregional Forum

The city of Turkmenabat in the Lebap Province will host a national exhibition of Uzbek goods and the Second Turkmen-Uzbek Interregional Forum from November 20 to 21 this year.

According to Turkmenistan’s official media, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers for Trade and the Textile Industry Batyr Atdayev reported on the preparation for these events during the regular online government meeting on Friday.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that Turkmenistan is steadily enhancing its trade and economic relations with neighboring countries, highlighting the importance of expanding cooperation with the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The head of state instructed officials to take appropriate measures to ensure the successful organization of these events.

Several other priority issues concerning national governance were also discussed at the government meeting.
