Turkmenbashi International Sea Port Offers Duty-free Cargo Storage Service

Turkmenbashi International Sea Port offers the service of storage of various cargos and goods for up to 3 years without registration and payment of customs duties, the press service of the Türkmendeňizderýaýollary (Turkmen Maritime and River Transport) Agency reported on Friday.

According to the report, the goods placed in the customs warehouse are always under customs control, and the period of storage of goods is determined on pre-agreed terms.

Companies engaged in export-import operations will be able to promptly send their goods to neighboring countries or the territory of the country, using the developed infrastructure of the seaport, convenient and spacious warehouses, and modern loading and unloading equipment.

On April 16, 2022, Turkmenbashi International Sea Port received a license for the storage of cargo following the special customs regime.
