Turkmenbashi Refinery Produces Nearly 667 Thousand Tons of Gasoline

Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries (TCOR) in Turkmenistan produced 666,733 tons of motor gasoline in the first five months of this year, an increase of 80 thousand tons compared to the same period last year.

During the five-months of 2021, the refinery produced 24,383 tons of liquefied gas, exceeding the production plan for the period by 8,085 tons, the online newspaper of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan reported on Tuesday.

The volume of crude oil sent to the Turkmenbashi refinery for deep processing exceeded 1.83 million tons during the period.

During 2021, Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries (TCOR) will purchase up to 500,000 tons of oil from foreign companies operating in Turkmenistan on the basis of Production Sharing Agreements, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the relevant Resolution in a government meeting held last Friday.
