Turkmenbasi Refinery’s H1 2022 Gasoline Output Exceeds 811 Thousand Tons

Turkmenbashi Oil Refinery, Turkmenistan’s major oil processing plant, produced more than 811 thousand tons of gasoline in the first half of this year.

The refinery, located in the country’s western province of Balkan, overfulfilled the gasoline production plan for the period by more than 208 thousand tons, the country’s official media reported on Wednesday.

Among the total gasoline output, around 469 thousand tons are A-95 gasoline, around 278 thousand tons are A-92 gasoline and around 64 thousand tons are A-80 gasoline.

During the period the refinery on the Caspian coast processed nearly 2.4 million tons of crude oil. The plant’s output includes more than 20 different fuel and petrochemical products.

Turkmenbashi refinery is part of the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries (TCOR). TCOR also includes Seydi Oil Refinery located in the country’s eastern province of Lebap.
