Turkmenistan Airlines to Launch Regular International Flights in New Directions

Türkmenhowaýollary (Turkmenistan Airlines) is set to launch regular international flights to multiple countries, the Agency's Chairman, Dovran Saburov announced during a speech at the ITTC 2023.

The cities under consideration are Seoul (South Korea), Tokyo (Japan), Milan (Italy), Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), Ho Chi Minh City, and Hanoi (Vietnam).

Saburov commented that the total volume of passengers is projected to grow 136.3% from the previous year, and cargo traffic is expected to increase by 112.7%.

According to Dovran Saburov, the Agency aims to bring the cargo turnover up to 60,000 tons a year.

He additionally stated that the Agency has invested $700 million of state funds and $3 billion to keep the infrastructure of international airports in Turkmenistan up to standard to achieve its goals and projects.
