Turkmenistan and Armenia are ready to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation

Today, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmed Gurbanov and Adviser to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Artashes Tumanyan. According to the press service of the Turkmen department, during the meeting the parties expressed their readiness to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation.

In addition, the priority areas of the Turkmen-Armenian partnership were discussed, especially in the trade and economic sphere.The parties emphasized the importance of the recent working visit of Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan to Turkmenistan, where he took part in the international forum “Interconnection of Times and Civilizations the Basis of Peace and Development”, dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the poet and thinker of the East Magtymguly Fragi.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation, which, according to the participants, will contribute to the development of bilateral relations and strengthening of regional dialogue.
