Turkmenistan and CIS discussed expansion of cooperation

Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Russia Esen Aydogdyev held a meeting with CIS Secretary General Sergey Lebedev, during which the parties discussed issues of Turkmenistan’s participation in integration processes within the Commonwealth. The Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation reports this.

In particular, at a meeting in the Moscow branch of the CIS Executive Committee, the prospects for expanding cooperation between Turkmenistan and the organization were discussed, and a schedule of joint events for the current year was agreed upon.

Taking into account its neutral status, Turkmenistan is an associated member of the CIS and regularly takes initiatives to expand and deepen practical interaction with the states of the Commonwealth.
