The Turkmen delegation, on a working visit to France, met with French companies that are members of the International Association "MEDEF-International".
During the meeting, the Turkmen side introduced representatives of French business to the key areas of economic development and the investment potential of the country.
After exchanging views on enhancing and expanding Turkmen-French cooperation, the participants of the meeting identified the oil and gas and gas chemical industries, the electric power industry, transport and communications, the medical industry and pharmaceuticals, the financial and banking sector, as well as the water management complex as promising vectors of partnership.
Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov also met with representatives of the French business community, including the Honorary President of the France-Turkmenistan Chamber of Commerce, President of CIFAL International Services Gilles Remy, Honorary President of CARPI Tech" Alberto Maria Squero and CEO of this company Francois Tronel, President of the Group of Companies "Bouygues" Martin Bouygues, President of the companies "Vinci Construction Grand Proje" Patrick Kadri.
Topical issues of cooperation with these companies were discussed at the meetings.
During the visit to Paris, members of the Turkmen delegation held a series of bilateral negotiations with leaders and representatives of various government agencies, as well as French companies, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
