Turkmenistan and Georgia Discuss Banking, Investment Cooperation

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Georgia Dovletmyrat Seyitmammedov met with Georgian Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili to discuss expanding banking and investment cooperation between the two countries, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Georgia reported on Wednesday.

The talks reviewed the current state of bilateral relations in the financial and economic sphere and explored prospects for their further development.

The sides paid particular attention to expanding investment cooperation, developing the banking sector and improving tax administration, as well as enhancing the efficiency of financial mechanisms and implementing joint initiatives aimed at supporting sustainable economic growth.

Following the meeting, the parties underscored the importance of strengthening trust between the financial institutions of the two countries and reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining regular contacts and coordinating efforts to further deepen economic ties.
