Turkmenistan and Hungary Agree on Mutual Opening of Embassies

Turkmenistan and Hungary have reached a mutual agreement on opening embassies in their countries. The agreement was reached by parties on the sidelines of the meeting of economy and trade ministers of the Organization of Turkic States in Istanbul, Turkey, on Thursday.

Zoltán Kovács, Hungary's State Secretary for International Communication, said on X, formerly known as Twitter, that the move followed Hungary's commitment to open diplomatic missions in all member countries of the organization.

During the meeting, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto stressed the importance of developing cooperation between East and West, in which the Organization of Turkic States plays a key role.
