Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan discussed expanding partnership in the fuel and energy complex

The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Kyrgyzstan N. Golliev and the Minister of Energy of Kyrgyzstan T. Ibraev discussed the prospects for deepening bilateral cooperation in the energy and trade-economic spheres, reports the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.

The parties expressed interest in implementing joint projects in the oil and gas sector and building up trade and economic ties. Particular attention was paid to the activities of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Kyrgyz Commission on Cooperation.

The Minister of Energy of Kyrgyzstan expressed gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the previously provided humanitarian assistance to the republic. Diplomats noted the positive dynamics of the partnership between the two countries.
