Turkmenistan and Tajikistan Define Business Cooperation Priorities

Aymyrat Gochmyradov, Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Tajikistan, along with representatives from the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET), currently on a working visit to Tajikistan, met with Haydar Rajabov, Deputy Chairman of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan, on Thursday. The parties identified priority areas for cooperation.

In this context, special attention was given to light industry, the oil and gas sector, the food industry, and the agro-industrial complex as key directions for intensifying bilateral partnerships, as reported by the Turkmenistan’s diplomatic mission in Tajikistan.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed ways to further enhance collaboration between Turkmenistan and Tajikistan in the field of trade and economic relations, where there is significant potential for mutual implementation.

The Tajik side welcomed Turkmenistan's intention to open a Trade House in Dushanbe and expressed readiness to provide all necessary support for its swift launch and successful operation.
