Turkmenistan and Tajikistan discussed expanding energy supplies

The development of cooperation in the oil and gas sector and the issue of expanding the range of energy supplies was discussed by the government delegation of Turkmenistan during negotiations with the heads of a number of ministries and departments of Tajikistan, the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports.

Thus, during the meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan Tangryguly Atahalliyev with the Deputy Prime Minister of Tajikistan Ziyozod Sulaimon Rizoi, issues related to expanding the range of energy supplies to Tajikistan, strengthening trade and economic cooperation, etc. were discussed.

Issues of strengthening cooperation in the field of petrochemicals and petroleum products were discussed by the Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmennebit" Guvanch Agajanov, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the aluminum company "Talco" of Tajikistan Najibullo Radzhabov and the Deputy Minister of Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan for oil and gas issues Shoimzoda Khudobakhsh.
