Turkmenistan and the EBRD discussed a five-year cooperation strategy

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held a meeting with the head of the Representative Office of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in Turkmenistan Eric Livni, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.

During the meeting, issues of strengthening partnership interaction and prospects for increasing cooperation between Turkmenistan and the EBRD were discussed.

The parties reviewed proposals for developing systematic work, including the preparation of a five-year EBRD strategy for Turkmenistan. Specific projects planned for implementation with the participation of public and private entities, such as green cities and water management, were also discussed.
