Turkmenistan and the International Union for Conservation of Nature concluded a Memorandum of Understanding

The Ministry of Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan and the International Union for Conservation of Nature entered into a Memorandum of Understanding through diplomatic channels. According to the document, the parties will strengthen cooperation in the field of sustainable management of natural resources, protection of biodiversity and other areas, reported the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Germany.

The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) was created in 1948 and is now the largest and most diverse environmental network in the world. It brings together the knowledge, resources and capabilities of more than 1400 organizations and 15 000 experts.
