Turkmenistan and Russia are discussing the transit of grain from the southern regions of the Russian Federation to the Persian Gulf countries and other regions through the seaport of Turkmenbashy.

At present time, the import supply of grain from Astrakhan to the Turkmenbashy port by vessels of the national fleet “Magtymguly”, “Turkmenistan” and “Balkan” continues. Let us remind that in August more than 12 thousand tons of Russian wheat were transported.
