Turkmenistan and the UAE discussed expanding cooperation

Within the framework of the working visit of the delegation of Turkmenistan to the United Arab Emirates, a meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Vice-President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court of the UAE Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, reports the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed expanding cooperation in the political, trade, economic and humanitarian spheres. The development of relations between the countries and a confidential dialogue at the highest level was noted.

The parties emphasized the prospect of further deepening cooperation between Turkmenistan and the UAE.

Meredov also met with the UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei. The parties discussed issues of interaction in the field of natural gas, electricity, renewable energy sources, and transport and logistics cooperation.
