Turkmenistan and Türkiye to Foster City Relations in Diplomatic Meeting

Muhammetnur Ovezov, the Consul General of Turkmenistan in Türkiye and Davut Gül, Istanbul's Governor, convened in Istanbul on Monday to deliberate on establishing brotherly relations between cities. The primary focus of the meeting was to explore prospects for cooperation between Arkadag and Istanbul.

Discussions spanned trade, economic, educational, and cultural-humanitarian collaboration, as reported by Consulate General of Turkmenistan in Türkiye.

The Turkmen diplomat emphasized Turkmenistan's commitment to fostering ties with fraternal nations, presenting Governor Gül with a new book by Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov titled 'Youth - the Support of the Motherland.'

The meeting included an exchange of views on the joint action plan for 2024, aligned with Turkmenistan's declared 'Ocean of Wisdom of Magtymguly Pyragy' Year.
