Turkmenistan announces tender to construct a new shopping centre

On 9 November the newspaper “Neitralny Turkmenistan” published two reports on announcing international tenders to build the shopping and recreational centre in Ashgabat.

The mayor presented the designs of one of these centres scheduled to be opened in the residential district of Gazha to the head of the state.

The second centre is scheduled to be built in the district of Keshi. This district, like Gazha, has sporadically constructed buildings, which are gradually being demolished now.

Shopping centres are opened in Ashgabat on a regular basis.

On 29 June Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov opened a new entertainment centre “Gala” where he celebrated his 60th birthday.

On 10 July a four-storey building of the Centre for Trade and Services Altyn zaman was opened in Ashgabat.
