1.President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a congratulatory message to workers in the healthcare and medical industry on the occasion of the celebration of their professional holiday on October 10 - the Day of Healthcare and Medical Industry Workers of Turkmenistan.
The head of state noted in his message the importance of the adopted national and state programs aimed at the socio-economic development of the country and the transformation of the social and living conditions of the population in rural areas.
Within their framework, the medical infrastructure is expanding, modern hospitals, health centers, pharmaceutical enterprises and scientific and clinical centers are being built throughout the country.
2.Today in Ashgabat, at the exhibition center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the International Exhibition “Healthcare, Education and Sports in the Renaissance Era of a New Age of a Powerful State” was solemnly opened, within the framework of which a scientific conference will also be held.
The large-scale exposition widely features stands of foreign manufacturers of pharmaceutical products, medical equipment and consumables, as well as public organizations involved in promoting the culture of sports and a healthy lifestyle.
The exhibition is an effective platform for product promotion, business development, market research, meetings with specialists from different regions of Turkmenistan and abroad.
3.The ceremonial event to present Turkmenistan with a certificate of inclusion of Magtymguly’s heritage in the UNESCO “Memory of the World” register was held in Ashgabat at the Mukams Palace.
The forum opened with an artistic performance dedicated to one of the moments in the creative life of Magtymguly Fragi.Further, the certificates were solemnly presented to the Minister of Culture and the President of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan by the UN Resident Coordinator in Turkmenistan Dmitry Shlapachenko.
4.Turkmenistan will take part in a significant international event - the first Festival of Eurasian Culture, which will be held in Seoul from October 11 to 17.At the forum, representatives of the creative intelligentsia of Turkmenistan will present samples of national musical and visual arts to guests and spectators.
Within the framework of the event, it is planned to introduce festival guests to the cultural traditions and values of Turkmenistan.
5. The Islamic Development Bank can finance the construction of international-level cancer centers in the Mary, Balkan and Labap velayats of Turkmenistan.
6.President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Resolution, permitting the State Committee for the Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan to enter into contracts with local construction enterprises for the design and construction of facilities and structures in the city of Arkadag with the improvement of adjacent territories.
The decree stipulates that construction work should begin in October 2023 and that facilities and structures will be fully ready for operation in September 2026.
7.President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, co-chairman of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Russian Commission on Economic Cooperation on the Russian side, Alexey Overchuk.
During the meeting, the parties discussed priority issues of bilateral cooperation, based on the principles of in-depth strategic partnership and progressively developing across its entire spectrum.As noted, interstate political dialogue is consistently strengthening.
An active character is inherent in interaction between parliaments.Fruitful relations have been established between Turkmenistan and the regions and constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
8.The oldest resident of the city of Arkadag is 89 years old Shamurat Nazarov.He was born on August 22, 1934 in the vicinity of this unique “smart” city.
Now Shamurat is the father of 10 children - 4 sons and 6 daughters, as well as a grandfather to 43 grandchildren and 74 great-grandchildren.Today, the 89 years old elder lives in Arkadag and is very pleased with the quality of life in this city.
He noted the high level of services provided, including transport and housing infrastructure.Many of his descendants grandchildren and great-grandchildren also settled here.
