Turkmenistan, Chimcomplex Discuss Investment in New Industrial Projects

Turkmenistan’s Ambassador to Romania, Annamamet Annayev, met with the Chairman of the Board of the Romanian company Chimcomplex, Ştefan Vuza, to discuss prospects for investment in new industrial projects, as well as cooperation in gas processing and the chemical industry.

The Turkmen side presented information on key areas of development in the country’s oil, gas, and industrial sectors, including measures to modernize the industry and ensure regional energy security, Turkmen official media reported Monday.

Chimcomplex’s leadership expressed interest in strengthening partnership ties with Turkmenistan. Following the meeting, both sides confirmed their readiness to continue dialogue and identify specific areas for mutually beneficial cooperation.

Earlier, Chimcomplex proposed the creation of a Turkmen-Romanian chemical company — a joint venture with Turkmenkhimiya aimed at promoting industrial development and economic collaboration.
