Turkmenistan delegation took part in OSCE meeting in Vienna

The delegation of Turkmenistan took part in the OSCE Economic and Environmental Dimension Implementation Meeting (EEDIM), which was held in Vienna. This was reported on the website of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Austria.

Key discussions at EEDIM focused on sustainable water use and regional stability, with a particular focus on technological solutions.

Turkmenistan also reiterated its proposal to establish a Regional Climate Technology Centre in Ashgabat to promote climate resilience in Central Asia.

A side event at EEDIM on water security in Central Asia explored the joint efforts needed for sustainable development in the region.

The event permitted participants to share experiences on strengthening climate and water security, strengthening the OSCE's role in addressing transboundary environmental issues, the source said.
