As reported by the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry, 1,200 tons of cargo for various purposes were delivered to Afghanistan, which included products of the textile and food industries, as well as 20 railroad tank cars of oil products.

The consignment was transferred to the village of Turgundi in the Herat province. The presentation ceremony was attended by a representative delegation from Turkmenistan, and from the Afghan side - the head of the Herat province and other high-ranking officials of various departments.

At the end of the humanitarian aid delivery ceremony, sadaqa was given.

The message emphasizes that the Turkmen government actively continues to maintain close international contacts within the framework of a peaceful solution to the difficult situation in Afghanistan, making a special contribution to the socio-economic development of the neighboring state through the implementation of projects in the field of energy, transport and communications.
