Turkmenistan discusses with Kamaz PJSC the supply of test electric buses for Ashgabat City

Negotiations on the supply of electric buses for test operation in 2022 are underway between Turkmenistan and PJSC Kamaz, the website nangs.org reports, citing the company's CEO Sergei Kogogin.

Arab countries are also showing great interest in Kamaz electric buses, Kogogin said. At this time, the supply of this equipment to the countries of the Persian Gulf is also being discussed.

The largest Russian company "Kamaz" is one of the twenty leading world manufacturers of trucks. The company produces trucks, trailers, buses, engines and power units.

During the period of cooperation with Turkmenistan, more than 11 000 KAMAZ vehicles have been delivered to the country, including 2 000 over the past three years.

It should be reminded that the KAMAZ training and service center was opened in Turkmenbashi in November.
