Turkmenistan Donates 2,000 Tons of LNG to Kyrgyzstan

Turkmenistan will provide 2,000 tons of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to the Kyrgyz Republic as a humanitarian aid initiative.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, recognizing the enduring traditions of amicable relations and humanism embedded in the Turkmen culture, as well as considering the prevailing challenges in Kyrgyzstan's energy sector, signed an order authorizing the dispatch of LNG to a friendly nation, as reported by Turkmenistan's official media on Friday.

As outlined in the document, the Türkmengaz (Turkmen Gas) State Concern will contribute 2,000 tons of liquefied natural gas as a friendly and fraternal gesture to support Kyrgyzstan.

The humanitarian aid shipment from Turkmenistan to Kyrgyzstan is scheduled for dispatch in February 2024.
