By order of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care donated gifts for children to Tajikistan. Medicines, textile products, children's clothing and confectionery were sent as gifts to the Tajik people, TDH reports.
The gift transfer ceremony took place at the Istiklol Medical Complex in Dushanbe. The event was attended by members of the government delegation of Turkmenistan, as well as officials of the Republic of Tajikistan.
During the presentation of gifts, songs and musical compositions were performed glorifying the friendship and brotherhood of the two countries. Representatives of Tajikistan expressed sincere gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen people for the assistance and support provided.
This humanitarian action is carried out in accordance with the long-standing traditions of good neighborliness and humanism of the Turkmen people. The gesture of solidarity and mutual assistance once again emphasizes the strong friendly relations between Turkmenistan and Tajikistan.
