Turkmenistan exported over 2 million tons of oil through Russia over 11 months of the year

Transit of oil from Turkmenistan through the Russian Federation in January-November 2020 amounted to 2.11 million tons. This was reported by Interfax, quoting the Central Dispatching Department of the Fuel and Energy (CDU TEK) of Russia.

In November alone, more than 160 thousand tons of Turkmen oil was transported to foreign markets through Russia.In the list of countries exporting oil in transit through the Russian Federation, in terms of the amount of raw materials, Turkmenistan stably ranks second after Kazakhstan.

Oil transit of Kazakhstan through the Russian Federation over 11 months of the year amounted to 14.21 million tons (1.16 million tons in November).Azerbaijan is on the third place with 528.57 thousand tons (169.79 thousand tons in November).

CDU TEK also notes that the production of oil with gas condensate in Russia decreased on an annualized basis by 8.4%, to total 470.16 million tons, from January to November 2020, adjusted for the leap year.
