Turkmenistan has received international awards for its success in youth policy, transport and healthcare

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan hosted the grand opening of the International Scientific and Practical Conference and Multidisciplinary Exhibition, which summed up the results of the outgoing year under the motto “Happy youth with Arkadag Serdar”. The forum was attended by representatives of the leadership corps, diplomacy, public organizations, the media and student youth, writes TDH.

At the plenary session, issues of implementation of the state youth policy in Turkmenistan were discussed, attention to education, patriotic education of youth and the expansion of their rights and opportunities was noted.

As part of the event, organizations and youth of Turkmenistan were awarded international certificates and awards. UNDP Resident Representative in Turkmenistan Narine Sahakyan presented the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care with a letter of gratitude from the UNICEF Office in Turkmenistan.

The UNDP Resident Representative also presented a Certificate for the important efforts of the Government of Turkmenistan to accelerate development towards universal health coverage and three certificates to laboratories of Turkmenistan.

The head of the rating agency UI GreenMetric World University Ranking presented certificates to eight universities of Turkmenistan for inclusion in the international ranking.

Also, certificates were awarded for the inclusion of Turkmenistan objects in the UNESCO World Heritage List and a certificate for chess player Saparmyrat Atabaev for conferring the title of international grandmaster.

A number of departments of the transport and communications complex have received certificates from international organizations for their contribution to the development of the industry:
