Turkmenistan Holds Round Table on Modernizing Investment Climate

In Turkmenistan, a round table organized by the USAID project "Governance in Turkmenistan" (GAT) and supported by the Ministry of Finance and Economy focused on modern international practices in investment and legislative modernization, as reported by organizers.

National and international experts presented new investment strategies and legislative initiatives, discussing how to adapt them to Turkmenistan's specific conditions. Participants identified key areas for improvement and outlined ways to strengthen investment legislation in line with global standards.

The discussion highlighted the importance of enhancing cooperation between U.S. government agencies and Turkmenistan, including the Ministry of Finance and Economy.

USAID continues to engage key stakeholders and support the development of policies and legislation aimed at creating an effective and sustainable investment environment in Turkmenistan.
