Turkmenistan Imports Over €17 Million Worth of European Chemical Products

Turkmenistan imported €17.08 million worth of chemical products from the European Union from January to February 2023, Trend news agency reported on Tuesday, citing the statistical department of the European Union - Eurostat.

According to the agency, the figures in the reporting period are 1.7 times higher than in the first two months of last year (€9.75 million).

The Eurostat statistics department, Turkmenistan imported €8.74 million worth of chemical products from EU countries in February 2023, a 4.8 percent increase compared to January 2023 (€8.34 million).

Turnover between Turkmenistan and the EU countries in January-February 2023 amounted to €118.36 million.
