President Serdar Berdimuhamedov called on the deputies of the Mejlis to improve the Laws "On Foreign Investments" and "On Hydrocarbon Resources" during his speech at the first meeting of the national parliament of the seventh convocation, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reports today.
Turkmenistan has colossal hydrocarbon reserves by world standards. With this in mind, according to the President of the country, the task of intensive development of the national economy by equipping the industrial sector with high technologies and attracting foreign capital is at the forefront.
