Turkmenistan Introduces New Reduced Tariffs For Submitting Transit Declaration

Directorate of Economic Management under the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan introduced new reduced tariffs for submitting the Transit Declaration in the customs information system ASYCUDA World and filling of the relevant information in the software "Digital Customs Transaction" from March 1, 2023, State Customs Service of Turkmenistan announced on Friday.

Fees for these services for participants in foreign economic activity were also reduced in accordance with new tariffs.

The Economic Department under the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan provides services of loading, unloading and storage of goods transported in international trade, as well as services for the implementation of procedures related to customs clearance of cargo and other high quality services to participants of foreign economic activity.

The Directorate of the Economic Department under the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan was established in 2014 to implement customs procedures in international transportation and cargo storage services.

The Directorate of the Economic Department is a self-sustaining institution that is funded independently of the state.
