Turkmenistan invited to participate in International Forum on the Transportation of Petroleum Products and Other Cargo

Representatives of Turkmenistan engaged in freight transportation and hydrocarbon exports, as well as companies and logistics specialists, have been invited to take part in the international conference Argus Black Sea and Caspian Key Terminals and Logistics, which will be held on May 1415 in Batumi, Georgia. This was reported by the newspaper Türkmeniň ýüpek ýoly.

According to the report, the event will bring together more than 170 participants, including cargo owners, exporters, executives of transport companies, logistics operators, and traders from the Black Sea, Caspian Sea, and Central Asian regions.

The conference will cover three key areas: dry cargo transportation, oil and petroleum product shipments, and container transportation. The agenda includes issues related to the development of terminal infrastructure, oil exports via the Black Sea route, logistics arrangements for fertilizers, sulfur, and agricultural products, as well as investments in railway and port infrastructure.

The report also emphasizes that a distinctive feature of the forum will be organized site visits to major logistics facilities in Georgia, including the Poti Trans Terminal container terminal, a multimodal mineral fertilizer handling terminal at the Port of Poti, and the Petrocas Energy Group oil terminal.
