Turkmenistan Receives 470 Million Manats From Privatization of State Properties

The state budget of Turkmenistan received nearly 470 million manats from the privatization of 95 state-owned properties, Minister of Finance and Economy Muhammetgeldi Serdarov announced in his briefing during the extraordinary meeting of the Halk Maslahaty (People's Council) chamber of the country's bicameral parliament Milli Gengesh (National Council) on Friday.

The meeting hosted by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was attended by members of Halk Maslahaty, members of the government, deputies, heads of ministries and departments, political parties and public organizations, governors and mayors.

In his report on the execution of the State Budget for 2021, Serdarov said the revenue part of the state budget was executed at 104.1%, and the expenditure part 99.9%.

The state also received more than 208.5 million manats from the rent of state properties.

The volume of utilized investments from all sources of financing amounted to 31.7 billion manats last year 18.1%. of total GDP.
