Turkmenistan’s Ahal Province to Build, Reconstruct 41 Social Facilities

In 2022-2028 years, 41 social buildings and facilities will be built and reconstructed in Turkmenistan's Ahal province, Parahat Meretliyev, Chief Specialist of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan, said in his article published in the official Turkmen press in late August.

Construction of the facilities will be carried out within the framework of the "National Program of the President of Turkmenistan for improvement of social and living conditions in villages, settlements, towns and district centers till 2028" adopted in July this year.

Among the facilities that will be built are 11 preschool institutions, 14 secondary schools, six clinics and health centers, and one hospital.

In addition, 2,204.3 km of water pipelines, four water treatment plants, 807.2 km of sewage, five sewage treatment plants, 1,034 km of roads, 358.46 km of gas pipelines and 1,410.4 km of electric lines, 322 km of telephone network and 4,552 telephone numbers will be commissioned in the province.

During the period, the province will build 914.2 thousand square meters of residential houses.
