On 14 March Turkmenistan’s Defense Minister Yaylym Berdyev who arrived in Abu Dhabi as part of the Turkmen delegation, headed by President Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov met with his counterpart, Sheikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, according to WAM Emirates News Agency.
According to the news outlet, the ministers discussed a variety of current regional and global issues of common concern ways of consolidating ties of friendship and cooperation in defence and military fields. No further details and specific questions, which were on the agenda, are provided.
