Turkmenistan’s Deputy Prosecutor General dismissed

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov issued a decree to dismiss Turkmenistan’s Deputy Prosecutor General Shamyrat Garayev for “poor performance of job responsibilities”, the newspaper “Neitralny Turkmenistan” reports.

Let us recall that in May, following the large-scale anti-corruption cleansing in public prosecutors’ office, Prosecutor General Amanmurad Khallyev was dismissed. Batyr Atdaev was appointed as his replacement.
